In Prof. Donefer's long career in financial services, he has worked with banks, securities firms and exchanges in the US and throughout Western Europe and Asia. He has consulted to the New York and Milan Stock Exchanges, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup and others. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at the NYU Stern and Fordham graduate business schools, teaching Financial Information Systems and Risk Management Systems and a Fellow at NYU's Center for Digital Economy Research. He is also Associate Director of the Wasserman Trading Floor / Subotnick Financial Services Center at Baruch College, City University of NY and a member of their faculty. Previously, as Head of Capital Markets Systems for Fidelity Investments, he was responsible for its systems in equity agency, market making and algorithmic trading, fixed-income, forex and risk management. As US CIO of DKB (now Mizuho Bank), he engineered disaster recovery after the first WTC attack.
As
principal of Conatum Consulting, LLC, he consults to the financial
services industry and currently serves on advisory boards of two digital
economy start-ups. |
